Getting to Bar Harbor
While Bar Harbor is a trek, we promise it will be worth it! We highly recommend flying into Bangor International Airport (BGR) and renting a car for the weekend. Renting a car will allow you to explore Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park during your stay.
Please note that Ubers are not reliable in this area. There are some taxi services available.
You can also fly into Hancock County Bar Harbor Airport and taking the free shuttle to Bar Harbor though, because this is such a small airport, it is more costly.

EV Rental Cars in Bar Harbor
If you are looking for a car to rent to get to Acadia Natoinal Park once in BH, we recommend Acadia Gem! They are all electric and a fun way to explore. You pick them up right next to the venue/hotel. They have a 2, 4 or 6 seater. Great for families!
